Former Apollo 13 Disaster Team Member to Discuss Project Leadership at PMI Northern Nevada
Tom Taormina to speak at Project Management Institute in Reno, NV. Taormina's presentation is titled, "Houston, We Have a Problem!"
The foundation for his work and books is his 14 years at NASA's Mission Control in Houston during projects Gemini, Apollo and Skylab. Tom is also an eminent expert witness in products liability and organizational negligence. His 11th book, Foreseeable Risk is a desk reference for risk avoidance in organizations that want to deliver defect free products and services. It is also a guide for attorneys prosecuting or defending products liability litigation.
Tom is currently on the Boards of The Challenger Learning Center of Northern Nevada and Space Station Novato, where he works to endow these lessons to the next generations of pioneers. He is a Certified Management Consultant, Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence and is a Forensic Business Pathologist™
