Sacred Heart School to offer engineering courses as part of SHIELD summer enrichment curriculum

KINGSTON, Mass. - June 20, 2016 - PRLog -- Sacred Heart School (www.sacredheartkingston.com), a private, Catholic, co-educational school for students in preschool through grade 12, will offer several new engineering related courses as part of its proprietary summer enrichment program SHIELD (Sacred Heart Interdisciplinary Education Leadership Development).

"We're excited about these stimulating and thought provoking courses," said Summer Program Director Dylan Collins, noting that all SHIELD courses offered this summer at the Sacred Heart campus are open to students throughout the region.

Two professors from Northeastern University will instruct "What is Engineering: An Introduction to Engineering," "Product Development: Engineer Meets Entrepreneur,"  "Problem Solving 101," "Industrial Design," and "Engineering Graphics & Design."
