Unexpected surprises - and even more unexpected discoveries - abound throughout the pages of this dynamic suspense thriller. Fans of high stakes action tales are sure to find some enjoyment as they peruse the pages of O'Brien's nail-biting offering.

Unfortunately, readers are also sure to be distracted by the considerable editing issues contained throughout It Doesn't Get Dark Until Midnight. It's a shame when what would be an otherwise promising story is hijacked by grammatical, typographical, and plot and character development problems riddling almost every page. While a few errors here and there wouldn't be so much of a distraction, it's difficult to ignore widespread, extensive editorial problems that ultimately take the focus off the story itself.
