Enter At Your Own Risk is a creatively imagined psychological murder mystery, one that readers would normally have trouble putting down. In it, author April O'Brien invites you into the twisted mind of a maniacal serial killer, driven by madness to commit some of the most horrific murders imaginable. Fans of psychological thrillers will see the considerable potential Enter At Your Own Risk possesses, as well as appreciate O'Brien's efforts to bring her riveting story line to life.

It cannot be ignored, though, that the pervasive editing issues with the book take away from its overall potency. What could have been a thoroughly engrossing tale of suspense and mystery becomes difficult to follow with each new grammatical or typographical error, of which there are many. While one would hate to judge a book solely on its editorial presentation, the reality is even the most well thought out story won't have the same punch as one with a more polished delivery.

Editing issues aside, Enter At Your Own Risk shows the dynamic potential of a highly creative literary mind. Hopefully, O'Brien's talent becomes more unencumbered in future offerings.
