By: Camp Bed-Stuy Camp Bed-Stuy's new Arts Education and STEM program is facilitated by Keynote Speaker Karioki Crosby- a poplar robotics technology teaching artist. Karioki Crosby utilizes various instruments and tools including instruction, demonstration and workshops for camp engagement learning activities. Supported by a number of New York City Council and Assembly Members, Camp Bed-Stuy offers families traditional day camp activities such as horseback riding, swimming, arts and crafts to fencing and skateboarding to learning social intelligence, self-control, gratitude, grit, curiosity, optimism and zest. Camp Bed-Stuy was launched from the success of its sibling Uber Academic (Clinton Hill). Junior Camp Grades PK-2 Perfect for campers entering PK- 2nd grade, this program is designed to foster growth and development in a safe and nurturing environment. Activities are child centered, helping campers learn new skills and build social competencies. Please note: your child must be at least 4 years old when starting camp. Middle Camp Grades 3-5 Our Middle Camp is designed for campers that are entering grades 3 through 5. This program focuses on making friends, gaining independence, and being able to share the responsibilities of working as a team through various traditional and unique day camp activities.
