Al Wahda Mall, supports Eva Clarke in her attempt to break Guinness World Record

ABU DHABI, UAE - March 8, 2016 - PRLog -- Al Wahda Mall, an Iconic landmark &favorite shopping destination located in the heart of Abu Dhabi city, under its cause:health initiative supports UAE’s fittest female in her official attempt to break the Guinness World record in the category for Female and Male records for the most pull-ups in 24 hours at the Al Wahda Mall Central Atrium on 10^th and 11^th March.

Eva Clarke, seven-time record holder, attempts to undertaketwenty-four hours’ worth of dedication and commitment, to change people’s life at charity organization – Task Brasil. The NGO is a cause to fight against countless children onto the streets: domestic violence, being orphaned or abandoned, or simply belonging to dysfunctional families.

Aligning the event strategically with International Women’s Day celebration, Mr. Mohammed Nauman Thakur, General Manager, Al Wahda Mall, said, “Al Wahda Mall acknowledges and appreciates the vital role that a woman plays in today’s society. Since International Women’s day and mother’s day is celebrated in the month of March the mall dedicates this month for Women. We are very pleased to have been supporting this noble cause, and assure our whole hearted support to Eva Clarke, Abu Dhabi’s fitness icon to successfully achieve the most pull ups in 24 hours. I also invite mall goers to visit the mall and support her by cheering for her onsite, and through donations.  All proceeds from this fund raiser goes to charity organization “Task Brasil” - where a major number of teenage mothers and their babies and their families have benefited from the facilities and services provided. Our aim has always been to initiate activitites that will also help create awareness and promote healthy living among the residents of Abu Dhabi.”

About Task Brasil

Task Brasil started running residential care for street children and young people in 1998 after receiving a very generous donation from Jimmy Page, the Led Zeppelin rock icon, who witnessed first hand the deprivation of the children and troubles in the favelas whilst playing in Rio de Janeiro. About Eva Clarke:

Eva comes from a disciplined fitness background starting from a young age as a state x country, athletics and soccer representative through her youth and teenage years, Eva joined the Australian Army in 1998 after completing her schooling and this was the start of her Military and fitness career.
