SHREVEPORT, La. - Feb. 11, 2016 - PRLog -- CBR Ambassador, chute boss and event commander Tuff Hedeman is one of the most recognizable cowboys in the history of rodeo. In recent years he has made a name for himself in the production of great bull riding events and on February 20, he is bringing the Eldorado Resort Hotel and Casino Shreveport Tuff Hedeman Championship Bull Riding presented by Landers Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram to Northeast Louisiana.

The 4-time World Champion bull rider and Pro Rodeo Hall of Famer is readying the Centurylink Center for the No. 1 and No. 2 ranked bull riders in the world, Sage Kimzey (Strong City, Okla.) and Cody Teel (Kountze, Tex.) and Prairieville, Louisiana’s Jacob O’Mara who recently broke into the top rankings with an event win on the Road to Cheyenne.

But together their 5 World Champion belt buckles will not help them when they battle the No. 1 ranked rider on the CBR tour, Cody Rostockyj of Lorena, Texas, who earned that title in September and top ten ranked rider Jacob O’Mara from Prairieville, Louisiana who won his first CBR event championship in January in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. The bull riders arriving in Bossier will be competing for their lion’s share of the $30,000 purse.

The CBR Road to Cheyenne televised tour event pits the industry’s elite riders against the best bulls in a three round tournament style format featuring over 60 hand-picked bucking bulls who will be competing alongside the bull riders for an additional $45,000 in prize monies.

The Bull riding will be held at the Centurylink Center. Doors open at 6:00 and action gets underway at 8:00 p.m. A stick-bull riding competition for the kids will get underway at 6 pm with the finals held during intermission. The young stick-bull riders will show us their best imitation of their favorite bull rider as they buck out of miniature chutes with the winner taking home the grand prize, a Tuff Hedeman Championship Belt Buckle. Enter the stick-bull by emailing bullridingevents@aol.com for more information, limited contestants being accepted.
