DAV and RecruitMilitary to Produce All Veterans Career Fair in Phoenix on February 18

LOVELAND, Ohio - Jan. 15, 2016 - PRLog -- DAV and RecruitMilitary will produce an All Veterans Career Fair at University of Phoenix Stadium on Thursday, February 18, 2016. JP Morgan Chase will sponsor the event, which will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

“RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment,” said President and CEO Peter Gudmundsson, a former Captain in the Marine Corps. “Just last year, 55% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview as a result of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair, and employers were expected to extend as many as 29,000 interviews and more than 9,000 job offers.”

In September of 2015, the DAV-RecruitMilitary Phoenix event connected more than 410 veteran job seekers with 67 exhibitors, including L-3 Communications, JP Morgan Chase, and Cox Communications. Participating companies expected to conduct up to 420 interviews and make up to 139 job offers as a result of that career fair.

RecruitMilitary has produced veteran job fairs since 2006 and has held 19 events in Phoenix, drawing 8,420 attendees and 711 exhibitors. The company has produced more than 814 events in 65 cities across the country. RecruitMilitary will return to Phoenix to host two additional veteran career fairs in 2016.
