TransFACTive: A New Service of TransActive Gender Center

PORTLAND, Ore. - Jan. 11, 2016 - PRLog -- TransActive Gender Center, a leading national provider of education, training, advocacy and clinical services is announcing the establishment of "TransFACTive", a propaganda analysis and fact-checking project to counter extremist hate speech and misrepresentation of data and research for the purpose of fear mongering and increasing intolerance, hate and injustice towards transgender, gender diverse and gender nonconforming children, youth, adults and their families.

TransFACTive will provide fact-based counterpoint and rebuttal of so-called "bathroom bill", anti-transgender discrimination in schools, legislative, administrative and judicial violations of local, state and federal civil rights protections and human rights.

TransActive Gender Center was founded in 2007 and is based in Portland, Oregon, USA. They currently serve, in one capacity or another, more than 400 families of transgender and gender diverse children, youth and young adults and have provided training and education on an international level to more than 12,000 individuals and 350 organizations, businesses and groups.
