"The Framerunners: In the Company of Angels" By Jef Murray Soon To Be Released

Oloris Publishing is excited to announce "The Framerunners: In the Company of Angels" by Jef Murray to be released in Spring 2016.
Dec. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Jill Jonsson meets Sam Deckard and Luke Lester and embarks on an unexpected adventure. Along the way, she learns of the existence of an Order of special men and women who have kept a secret from the rest of mankind for centuries, and who need her help to prevent a great catastrophe from overtaking our world.

Imagine you are looking at a painting, or a sketch, or even a mirror. Does the place you see really exist? Whether it is an image of somewhere you know or someplace obviously fantastical, could you actually go there? This is part of the premise that Jef Murray explores in "The Framerunners". Under the right circumstances, a person can enter into a picture or a mirror and go exploring just as if they have opened a door! "They're more than just pictures, you know...."

There are three types of Framerunners:  Renderer, Empath, and Navigator. Each has a special ability that is used to help protect the world in which we live. "In the Company of Angels", twelve-year-old Jill discovers that she is an Empath. Sam is also twelve years old and already knows he is a navigator. Luke is an adult and has been a Renderer for several years. When Sam and Luke decide to show Jill what it's like to "framerun", they find themselves in the middle of an incredible adventure!

This truly delightful tale is beautifully illustrated by Murray. Originally conceived as the first of many adventures, "In the Company of Angels" was finished shortly before Jef Murray's untimely death. Oloris Publishing continues to work closely with his wife to see the project to completion, and we are honored to be the publisher chosen by the Murrays. Framerunners will be released on Jef’s birthday, March 17.

"As we step through the frames of Jef Murray’s timeless sketches, we experience, with incredibly detailed and delightful storytelling, a discovery of the  sense of ‘otherworldliness’ as we follow Jill, Sam, Luke, and Polly on a magical tale of mystery and intrigue. We learn, through these adventures into other worlds, deeper meanings within ourselves." ~Deborah A. Higgens, Ph.D.  Professor of Medieval Literature, Former Director at The Kilns, Oxford, UK
