Painting with a Twist Hosts Lifeline 4 Paws Fundraiser in Camarillo, CA December 12

CAMARILLO, Calif. - Nov. 30, 2015 - PRLog -- (Camarillo, CA) Painting with a Twist, a fun, new, art and social studio in Camarillo, CA, which encourages individuals to unleash their inner artist, will host a Painting with a Purpose charity to benefit the Lifeline 4 Paws Rescue Support program, a division of the Hogan Family Foundation based in Newbury Park, CA. The fundraiser will be held at Painting with a Twist at 2998 E. Ventura Blvd. in Camarillo Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The event will include a two-hour painting class for $35 per person, which will feature the group painting a holiday favorite called “Tiny Tannenbaum.”  In addition, a pair of Gift Certificates for a future Painting with a Twist class will be raffled.  Wine, beer, champagne and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for sale during the event.

Each month, Painting with a Twist franchisees around the nation hold painting fundraisers through the Painting with a Purpose program to benefit local charities. To date, Painting with a Twist studios have raised over $1 million.

For the Lifeline 4 Paws event, 50 percent of the proceeds with go to the non-profit to benefit its sponsorship programs that help injured and sick dogs, plus support spay and neuter clinics.

“We’re delighted to partner with Lifeline 4 Paws to help raise funds and increase awareness,” says Angela Jones, Painting with a Twist manager. “Community involvement is of utmost importance to us – we are thrilled to be helping a local group in need.”

Lifeline 4 Paws was founded in 2004, originally as a small breed dog rescue program serving Southern California.  Following several years of successful operation, the program redirected its focus in order to help more animals by providing veterinary medicine sponsorships for abused, neglected, and abandoned dogs.

According to Christine Hogan, executive vice president of the Hogan Family Foundation program, “This new direction allows us to realize a much greater impact by supporting other rescue groups with desperately needed and, often, life-saving medical care.  Today, we provide sponsorships for non-routine medical treatment for sick or injured dogs that other qualified 501(c)(3) organizations rescue, and, later, place in permanent adoptive homes.”
