Dr. Simhaee now offers a new non-surgical treatment to help treat hair loss using a 3 step system involving PRP, ACell, and Microneedling.  This technique has also been used by Dr. Gary Hitzig who is a leading hair transplant surgeon and his work was presented at the 25th International Congress of ISHR in Rome, Italy.

First, Dr. Simhaee will draw your blood (as in a regular blood test) in order to isolate growth factors that your body would normally use to heal damaged tissue. Once your blood has been harvested, a special centrifuge will be used to isolate the plasma rich platelets (PRP) from your blood.  These platelets contain growth factors which help stimulate healing.  Dr. Simhaee will apply the PRP combined with vitamins to the scalp followed by ACell.

ACell is an FDA approved protein matrix that is injected into the scalp which helps promote healing, increased blood flow, and stimulates the hair growth factors.  When combined with PRP, there is a constant supply of growth factors to weakened hair follicles which then helps to produce thicker, stronger hair. Combining ACell with highly concentrated PRP prolongs improved hair growth over time.
