Reliance Group’s Reliance Big Entertainment joins hands with FunOnGo

NEW DELHI - July 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Tapping into the universal presence of the smartphone, Reliance Big Entertainment, a part of the leading conglomerate of the country- Reliance Group, has entered into a strategic alliance with FunOnGo Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. for creation and distribution of entertainment content across mobiles. Reliance Big Entertainment aims to fulfil the objective of monetization of video content on mobiles having access to internet services through the above-mentioned alliance.

FunOnGo, a content aggregator and platform manager, licenses value-added service content across music, movies, games, and applications. Handset manufacturers are shifting their focus to user experience in order to improve market penetration. FunOnGo facilitates such efforts of the handset vendors by helping them set up on-device portals allowing users to browse, purchase, and enjoy content and services.

While advertising would remain the prime source of contribution to the revenue stream, paid content is also likely to contribute its share in the future. With shorter slips of music, movies and other forms of content made available, the content would be customised to suit the requirements of the mobile platform.

This new relationship between Reliance Big Entertainment and FunOnGo is a step forward towards delivering entertainment services which mobile users can avail when they are on the go in a simplified and hassle-free manner.
