ARTISTIC CREATIONS

The El Quixote Festival commemorates the 400th anniversary of the closing of the two books of Miguel De Cervantes Saavedra, simply known today as
'Don Quixote', with a particular emphasis on artistic creations in the Spanish language.

ONE HUNDRED PERCENT “QUIXOTIC”

While the “HUB” of the festival will be held in Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill, it is not limited to the Triangle.
Several activities are being planned in Charlotte, Greensboro and Winston Salem and other areas can be added in North Carolina.
To be included, the events must be scheduled during the festival season and must be somehow linked or connected to the novel.

"The hope is that this event be held annually in North Carolina," said Osuba. "I know this is a 'Quixotic' project but it is only the first step to something that can be totally awesome for our community, but this can only be achieved, if you are willing to join us in" Dreaming  the impossible dream "" concluded Osuba.
