New Information Included in Second Edition of “Harry: A Study of Teenage Mass Murderers”

GREEN BAY, Wis. - Jan. 26, 2015 - PRLog -- Sixteen-year-old Harry Hebard made world news in 1963 when he killed all five members of his family in small-town Green Bay, Wisconsin.

A member of the track team at Green Bay West High School, Harry appeared to be a relatively normal teenager when he went on a gun-fueled rampage inside his family’s rural home. In systematically executing his family, Harry became the first documented teenage mass murderer in Wisconsin history.

About the Author

Steve Daniels retired after twenty-six years in the criminal justice system, the last twelve as a high-risk parole agent working with extremely violent and dangerous offenders. During that career, Daniels and a colleague interviewed and researched nearly two hundred murderers in an effort to develop a working profile for criminal justice professionals.

Currently, Daniels is the chair of the Cold Case Review Team for the Wisconsin Association of Homicide Investigators, assisting agencies with old, unsolved homicides. He is also the author of numerous articles on various types of homicide, and is the coordinator of a nationally recognized annual homicide conference.

Daniels resides in Green Bay, Wisconsin, with his wife, Nancy.
