Eurotech: Strengthening of the Offering for the Internet of Things

COLUMBIA, Md. - Jan. 13, 2015 - PRLog -- Eurotech, a leading supplier of embedded systems, Machine-to-Machine (M2M) platforms and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, today announces that to enhance its M2M/IoT offering it has launched a project that includes the activation of a dedicated team of consulting services to support customers in the design of innovative M2M/IoT applications that take advantage of technologies in which Eurotech is at the forefront today.

“There is a demand for services to support the design of IoT solutions and M2M applications”, said Roberto Siagri, President and CEO of Eurotech. “In the sales process of our technologies we find more and more that customers need an active support in the design of the final solution and in the choice among deployment options available. In Eurotech today we already have all the skills to meet this need and starting from this year we will do it in a structured way, with a dedicated team.”

The new consulting services will be added to the already available offer of hardware, software and services, with the aim to broaden the spectrum of activity of the company and the ability to obtain design wins and orders.

As part of this reorganization and expansion of the Group's commercial proposition, Geoff Morton will leave his role as Vice President of M2M/IoT line of business, which will be integrated with the sales structures of the local units.

Already in the last months of 2014 Eurotech’s management has accelerated the alignment of the operating structure to the strategic vision and also in 2015 will continue with determination in this direction.
