Whyville.net signs on as sponsor for the Bizzy Girls Fair

Entrepreneur tweens and teens add technology to their love of fashion!

LOS ANGELES - March 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Whyville (www.whyville.net), a virtual learning world with 7.5 million  subscribers, ages 7 to 14, is excited to announce their sponsorship of the 2014 Bizzy Girls’ Entrepreneurship Fair and an ongoing relationship with Bizzy Girls Camps.

Bizzy Girls is a lifestyle brand for empowered tweens and teens that teaches girls entrepreneurship at camps around the country. Over two hundred girls between the ages of 7 and 14 started their own businesses at Bizzy Girls Camps in 2013. These camps are held at malls and offered through cities such as Beverly Hills and Santa Barbara. In 2014, over 600 eager teen and tween girls will create their own businesses through the camps.

The Bizzy Girls, Fair will take place on June 14 at the historical Santa Monica Bay Woman's Club in Santa Monica, CA. The club, started by women in the suffrage movement is celebrating their 100 year anniversary with the latest generation of empowered girls.

Bizzy Girl entrepreneurs will display their companies, sell their products, and show us the charities  they have started. Girls and moms will hear speakers, attend panels, workshops and various other creative activities. Teen YouTube and Nickelodeon stars will host the day’s activities and a Fashion show.

Although girls gravitate towards fashion and design for their first businesses, Bizzy Girls is also committed to introducing young girls to engineering and technology, Whyville.net  an award winning simulation based learning environment will be holding workshops at the fair that will teach girls how to make game apps. Whyville.net will also be launching its Bizzy Girls page on the site that will connect to entrepreneurship games and encourage girls to attend Bizzy Girls Camps..

Bizzy Girls wants to show girls that technology can be fun. How to make YouTube videos and digital music mixing will also be some of the fun technology based workshops.
