Total Window® Awards Colormix™ 2014 Student Design Contest Winners

DANIA BEACH, Fla. - Oct. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Total Window® is awarding Colormix™ 2014 StudentDesign Contest Winners on October 29^th 2013 at The Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale.  The event’s primary is sponsor is The Sherwin-Williams Company and Total Window® is also a sponsor, awarding the 3^rd Place prizes. Student Contest Winners will be selected based upon their designs as inspired by their assigned Colormix™ 2014 palettes. Student contestants entered from the Interior Design Department will display their paint color palette inspired renderings at the event.  The Industrial Design Department students will display their 3d printed designs also inspired by their assigned paint color palette.  Winners are determined by the votes cast by Designers and all event award sponsors attending this Design Contest event.  Jesse Stolow, COO of Total Window® will be recognizing the 3^rd Place, Colormix™2014 Student Design Contest Winners from both the Interior Design and Industrial Design Departments with a cash award.

The Colormix™ presentation being given by The Sherwin-Williams Company at the event, speaks to the state of color; an always fluid, rushing forward and gathering influences from the world around us. In Colormix™ 2014, Sherwin-Williams surveys these swirling currents to capture a picture.  The 2014 forecast investigates specific drivers and influences that will capture your attention, inform, and inspire you.  Each color palette tells a story, evokes an emotion and can be practically applied to product design, interior design and architecture, which will be assigned to each student contestant.
