By: SpringHill Suites We have partnered with Fresh Artists for this year’s Community Service Program. Fresh Artists is a vibrant, nonprofit organization that is dedicated to saving art education for all children. Fresh Artists engages children as equal partners in philanthropy, and widely exhibits children’s artwork throughout North America. We, at SpringHill Suites Baltimore Downtown/Inner Harbor, have a passion for the arts and we recognize the importance of an art education on the entirety of a student’s academic future. Research has proven art education has a tremendous impact on the developmental, confidence, personal growth, and academic success of children. Unfortunately, many schools are facing severe budget cuts that minimize or completely eliminate their art programs. October is National Arts & Humanities Month which is the perfect opportunity for us to give back to our community by joining forces with Fresh Artists through “Save Art!” This year, we have chosen to support George Washington Elementary #22. The SpringHill Suites Baltimore Downtown/Inner Harbor hotel invites hotel guests and community members to make a donation in exchange for beautifying a colorful palette displayed in the hotel lobby. All donations received will be used to purchase art kits that will be delivered just in time for the Winter holidays. To donate to George Washington Elementary #22, please visit SpringHill Suites Baltimore Downtown/Inner Harbor at: 120 East Redwood Street Baltimore, MD 21202 Contact number: (410) 685-1095 End
