Silver Lining InFlight Catering Hosts Their 3rd Annual Event to Benefit AHA’s PULSE

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Oct. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- Silver Lining InFlight Catering will host their third annual fundraiser to benefit PULSE, the young professionals division of the Greater Miami/Fort Lauderdale American Heart Association. The event will feature live entertainment, a gourmet menu curated by Silver Lining, specialty cocktails, all in a chic indoor/outdoor setting on the runway in Fort Lauderdale’s Executive Airport.

Over the past three years, PULSE has raised $261,000 and Silver Lining has contributed $41,500 to their campaign. PULSE is specifically dedicated to raising awareness of childhood obesity and supporting families of children with congenital heart defects.

On his motivation to support Pulse, owner of Silver Lining InFlight Catering, Mike Linder explains, “As a stroke survivor, I have finally found an organization that is a part of me, and something that I can truly feel passionate about. Year after year, the committee and chairs dedicate their time, energy, and resources, and we are proud to be able to contribute. We continue to grow each year, and we look forward to the best event yet on November 15th.”

PULSE is comprised of a Miami and Broward chapter, with over 50 philanthropic young professionals that volunteer to raise funds and awareness to further the mission of the American Heart Association.

Vice President of Development & Social Events, Maria Hunt states, “Mike Linder’s leadership is a pillar to the PULSE campaign, we are thrilled to have him as our host again for the Pulse Fall party. His continued support to the Mission of the American Heart Association helps us take bold, innovative steps to help all children live longer and healthier lives.”

The event will take place at Jet Runway Café located inside the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport at 5540 NW 21st Terrace Fort Lauderdale, FL. Tickets are available for purchase for $65 each; the event runs from 7pm until 10pm.
