ALLAHABAD, India - Oct. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- "Poetic Connections" was released in "National Seminar on Gender Studies in Indian Perspective: History, Politics and Text" in Sapatgram College of Assam.  The seminar was organised in association with Bodoland University of Assam. The book received much appreciation from the learned audience and dignitories present.

Poetic Connections features a great diversity of styles, scenes, messages, memories and sentiments as poets from Australia and India paint their word pictures, often with similar subjects and descriptions. Their poems are bound to evoke a variation of sensations and emotions as you read them.

Our little village of Nimbin has incredible diversity - poets, writers, painters, sculptors, potters, felt-makers, basket weavers, academics, labourers, shopkeepers, tourists, hippies and drug addicts mingle together in a pot-pouri of aromas, attire, hair-styles, beliefs, languages and attitudes. The same can be said for areas of India as many Australians have found when they journeyed to India in search of spiritual enlightenment and returned with an on-going connectedness to that ancient land. Poetic Connections strengthens that bond.
