Italian and Irish Trivia Dinner and Dance-a-thon All in One Night

NEW YORK - Aug. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- A trivia dinner and a dance-a-thon fundraiser, all in one night, to raise funds for independent film Spit Boys on August 23, at Colors Restaurant in Manhattan. The night will consist of a Red Carpet Trivia Dinner with the cast and crew of the film, which stars actors from The Sopranos and other well-known films such as actors William DeMeo, Brian Tarantina, Paul Borghese, and Jonathan Baldwin, just to name a few and playing a trivia game about the Italians and the Irish culture. Trust In Us Catering will provide Italian and Irish dishes to go along with the theme and wine is provided by Divjna Wine. Later in the evening, there will be a Dance-a-thon, where several groups of dancers will have to dance for four hours straight and the last group dancing will win $200.

Spit Boys follows the story of two cousins James and Mikey Callera, as a feud with a rival gang escalates. James returns from overseas as a soldier isn’t to only protect his family’s business, but to protect himself from his cousin. The story-line of this film tests the phrase “Blood is thicker than water”. Anthony J. Puglia stated, “We really wanted to tell a story about family and loyalty,” The film was co-written by award-winning film director Anthony J. Puglia, Sean S. Strain, and Joe Stern. Anthony will be directing the film alongside with producer John Colby of BxC Studios. Both the cast and crew are excited to be a part of the film but needs help to bring this film to life.

The fundraiser extravaganza will be held at Colors Restaurant, 417 Lafayette St., New York, NY. Dinner is $25 per person to enter from 5pm to 9pm. Dance-a-thon is $75 to enter per group (2-3 members in each group) from 10pm to 2am. The winner of the Dance-a-thon wins $200. There will be 2^nd place and 3^rd place prizes.
