HITZ International artist Jay Jones to Perform at the LouisiLanta SEC Hip Hop Series in Atlanta,

NEW ORLEANS - July 23, 2013 - PRLog -- The LouisiLanta SEC Hip Hop Series is headlined by New Orleans entertainment powerhouse Nesby Phips and also features New Orleans artists REi and Big Rec, along with Atlanta area talents, Black Owned C-Bone, W.I.C., Mic Barz, and Jack Preston. LouisiLanta is slated to be hosted by Maurice Garland, with DJ Mars on the 1s and 2s. Sponsor Mixtape Atlas will be dropping the LouisiLanta mixtape on the same day as the performance.

Jay Jones is a young emcee making waves in the music industry. The son of the legendary J-Dawg of Black Menace and protegee of New Orleans legends Partners-N-Crime, Jay Jones recently signed to HITZ International, a New Orleans label that has acquired a digital distribution deal through Universal subsidiary Fontana/InGrooves.

Jay Jones has been performing all over the South, including recent shows in Louisiana, Texas and beyond, as well as an appearance at the 2013 SXSW in Austin, Texas. He recently released his third mixtape entitled “Kool Kalm & Kollected” to wide acclaim. He is also a featured artist by distribution powerhouse VirDIKo.

Jay Jones has also been doing features and working with legendary artists, as well as getting wide exposure through the #0017^th movement, alongside lyrical geniuses Nesby Phips, Reem, Hollygrove Mikey and other New Orleans natives. The Hollygrove native is building his musical brand, while creating a future empire based on his Chill Society movement. His Chill Society company is in the process of mass producing merchandise that includes a clothing line, and his recently released t-shirt line. Jones has been unable to keep up with demand for the merchandise, which ensures his future success in the business world and beyond.

Brought up around some of the nation’s most well-known lyricists and producers, Jay Jones is setting the musical world ablaze with his “fire” lyrics and sought after skills.
