New Jersey, April 4, 2013 - LPD Entertainment announces the release of Miranda Writes’ new single, “Don’t Sweat Me”. Using her unique voice and style, Miranda Writes wrote the song with the intent to bridge the gap between Hip Hop culture and the mainstream. Speaking to her ambition and drive to revive Hip Hop, the song’s compelling refrain enforces, “W-R-I-T-E-S, yes, a new name to address.  I’m shifting the game. Hip Hop- won’t settle for less!”

Miranda Writes is a female emcee from central New Jersey with the mission to inject old-school Hip Hop culture into a genre now clouded with negativity and recurring themes far from the pillars of its foundation. Miranda Writes’ new single, “Don’t Sweat Me,” is an expression of her will to gain success, without limits, on her own terms. What are the terms? Early lyrics of “Don't Sweat Me,” tease the answer (“I ain’t stopping at a level, that’s all you need to know.”) until later in the song when she reveals: “The real can feel how I prove my point by the way I maintain to kill each joint. I will be the reason people start believin’. ‘Writes’ (in) lights is the vision that I’m seein’.”  

At 18 years old, Miranda Writes maintains a positive, forward-focused attitude. The lyrics of her songs, written entirely by the young artist, are composed during the week while her weekends are filled with performances at events largely supported by the Universal Zulu Nation. Miranda Writes has released 3 singles since January 2013 including the well-received “MW Anthem.” Under the banner of LPD Entertainment, an independent banner leading the modern revolution of Hip Hop, Miranda Writes plans to release her second album this year.  Her debut album, “Miranda Writes Say My Name Mix Tape” was released in 2012.
