-- Edward Albert, veteran fitness professional, personal trainer and former Mr. New Jersey and Melissa Saul, personal trainer and elementary school teacher, have combined forces and talents to introduce Ultimate Kids Zone, a five week boot camp fitness program for kids 9 and up in the Monmouth County area.
Albert and Saul are co-owners of Ultimate Fit Zone, a boot camp training facility for adults. Ultimate Kids Zone will meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Ultimate Fit Zone for 5 weeks. The program aims to teach kids not only the fun and importance of fitness, but also self-confidence, leadership and teamwork skills.
Before the start of Kids Zone, each enrolled child will meet one on one with a Kids Zone coach for an initial fitness assessment and meet and greet. Results of the fitness assessment will be kept on file to be used as a benchmark at the end of the program. After the kids power through 4 weeks of fitness together, they will come back on the 5th week for their final one-on-one assessment with a Kids Zone coach to show the progress they have made over the course of the program.
Each week the kids are presented with fitness challenges that they will work on together and individually to complete. Challenges are fun and give kids a sense of accomplishment upon completion. Challenges help kids improve their fitness level and also develop skills like speed, endurance, agility and coordination.
The cost for the 5 week Kids Zone fitness program is $79.00. If more than one child in a family is joining, one child will pay the full $79.00 and each additional child will be permitted to join at a reduced cost of $59.00.
