Design Engineering Inc. (DEI) Introduces: Pipe Wrap & Locking Tie Kit

Jan. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Avon Lake, Ohio…Design Engineering (DEI), the leader in heat control products for motorcycles, has now introduced a new Pipe Wrap & Locking Tie Kit that combines their popular pipe wrap with stainless steel zip ties to ensure a more secure, long-lasting fit.

DEI’s motorcycle pipe wrap helps to keep radiant heat in pipes for improved performance and also can help prevent serious leg burns.  This heat resistant wrap withstands direct continuous heat up to 1200° Fahrenheit and provides added protection against abrasions, hot oil spills and road grime.

The new kit includes one roll of 2” x 25 ft. pipe wrap and four 8” stainless steel zip ties; all in one convenient cost saving package. While developed for pipes 2” in diameter, to accommodate larger pipes two of the zip ties can be joined together to achieve the same snug fit.  

DEI’s Pipe Wrap & Locking Ties Kit is available in either black wrap (#010119), tan (#010122), or for a higher temp resistant wrap, Titanium (#010123) that offers a cool carbon fiber look.
