Allred Named Head Chef at The Boardwalk on Front in Downtown Wilmington
The Boardwalk on Front has started hiring its key staff. The first major hire has been a big splash. This shows the downtown community that The Boardwalk is focusing on fresh and delicious food.
WILMINGTON, NC - William Allred has been named Head Chef for The Boardwalk on Front Street, the hottest new spot downtown.
Chef Allred a native of Wilmington brings 13 years of experience to The Boardwalk. “I am excited about this opportunity and we will bring a lot to the Wilmington community,” said Chef Allred. He will be responsible for menu preparation, food inventory, training and overseeing cooks.
The concept behind The Boardwalk is a relaxed atmosphere that features a full restaurant, arcade, live stage entertainment, dance floor and bar. “There is nothing like this in Wilmington,”
Not only is The Boardwalk a revolutionary concept that offers a unique atmosphere, it also offers a snapshot of history featuring authentic memorabilia and boardwalk planks from some of the most famous boardwalks in the world, including Coney Island. “I am happy to be a part of this from the ground up. The ownership group seems to be a great folks to work with and I feel this is going to be a long lasting relationship,”
The hours of operation are Monday through Sunday from 11:30am to last call nightly.
