ABATE of Wisconsin Gives Holiday Cheer to Those Living in Poverty

ABATE of Wisconsin will be participating once again in a food drive to help needy families in the Milwaukee area for Thanksgiving through the House of Peace.
 
Nov. 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Milwaukee area ABATE of Wisconsin members will be participating once again in a food drive to help needy families in the Milwaukee area for Thanksgiving through the House of Peace. They provide food for Thanksgiving and Christmas to those in the Milwaukee area who are living in poverty. Last year they fed over 5,000 needy individuals, many of them children.

If you are in a position to do so, please consider donating what you can to the cause. A list of requested items is below.

Each food basket will need:

1 box of mashed potatoes, 1 bag of stuffing, 4 cans of green beans, 4 cans of corn, 2 cans of cranberry sauce, 1-32 oz can of sweet potatoes or yams, 1 box of cake mix, 1 can of frosting, 2 boxes of pudding or Jell-o, 2 boxes of cornbread mix and 2 boxes of macaroni and cheese.

ABATE of Wisconsin, Inc. which was founded in 1974 is a motorcycle rights and safety organization dedicated to "Freedom of the Road." ABATE of Wisconsin's goal is to give the motorcyclists of Wisconsin a strong, united voice with regard to their future, their way of life, their safety, and their legal rights as motorcyclists and citizens.
