Glasgow World Cup Gymnastics

You might have noticed that at First Class Concepts we got a little obsessed with the Olympics! Well if you got into gymnastics during the games this event is perfect for you. International gymnastics comes to Glasgow on Saturday 8th of December. This event is the final in the series and Glasgow was picked as one of only four other cities around the world to host. The top 8 gymnasts will battle it out to be crowned all-round World Champion. This is not to be missed. You can expect to see Team GB stars Kristian Thomas and Rebecca Tunney.

Glasgow on Ice

From 24th November to 6th of December in George Square you’ll be able to skate under the stars at Glasgow’s ice rink. There are free film screenings (which at First Class Concepts we love as we work with the film industry) and concerts as well as food and drink to be enjoyed. We’re going to be heading down with our whole team to see who has the best skills on ice, we’re not expecting much!

Glasgow Style Mile Christmas Parade

On the 18th of November you can watch Santa and a host of other festive characters parade down Buchanan Street. There will be lots of music and events for the whole family to enjoy from 12 noon onwards. If you didn’t manage to get tickets for the Christmas light switch-on on the 15th then this might be the perfect way to get into the spirit of Christmas!

Wow, there is some serious fun to be had in Glasgow over the next few weeks. And with New Year coming up we’ve got to get thinking about Hogmanay, we’ll post our guide to the best places to celebrate in the coming weeks. The team at First Class Concepts hope to see you at some of these events, have a great few weeks!
