Corey McIntyre of Buffalo Bills Hosts TEAM 38 Launch Event

Oct. 25, 2012 - PRLog -- Buffalo, NY -- Buffalo Bills’ fullback Corey McIntyre is launching his new foundation and Team 38 mentoring program, at Lancaster Lanes (4913 Transit Road Depew, NY) November 9 from 7:30-10:30 pm.  Fans will have the opportunity to bowl and meet Corey along with some of his teammates.  

Team 38 was created to help young men learn valuable lessons outside of the classroom throughout their high school years while allowing them to earn scholarships dollars for each year they are involved in the program.  Each year 38 male freshman students will be selected from (school) to participate in the Team 38 program.   Every month, participating students will meet with Corey for a mentoring session that will have a different assignment and focus.  Sessions will range from etiquette classes to job training sessions, resume writing workshops and more.  Students will also be required to volunteer at on event per month with Corey to earn their scholarships dollars.  At the end of four years, each student will have the chance to have earned $3800 of scholarship funds from the Corey McIntyre Foundation.

“I’m extremely excited to launch the Team 38 program and my foundation,” McIntyre said.  “It has always been a goal of mine to give back to the Buffalo community and I can’t wait to get started.  This is a dream come true for me and hopefully I can make a lot of dreams come true through Team 38.”
