Upcoming Clinical Ops Conferences to Address Post-Marketing Studies, Safety, Outcomes, and CER

Oct. 25, 2012 - PRLog -- Cambridge Healthtech Institute (CHI) has announced the dates for its upcoming clinical ops conferences on post-marketing studies. Programming will be held February 5-7, 2013 at Hyatt Regency in Miami, Florida.

Featured presenter Dean Hakanson, M.D., Head Economic & Outcome Research, US Medical and Drug Regulatory Affairs, Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation will present “Impact of CER on Drug Development.”

Featured presenter Reinerio Deza, M.D., Head, Global Pharmacovigilance, Cubist Pharmaceuticals, Inc. will present “Pharmacovigilance Outsourcing in a Clinical Program with the Strategic Partnering Outsourcing Initiative (SPOI).”

Featured presenter Yaffa Rubinstein, Ph.D., Program Director, Patient Resources for Clinical and Translational Research, Office of Rare Diseases Research, NCATS/NIH will present “Advancing Rare Disease Research: A Patient Recruitment and Registries Case Study.”

Additional sessions will cover strategic considerations for post-marketing research and surveillance, post-marketing strategies to increase drug safety, HER and registries as data source for comparative effectiveness research, generating real world data, just to name a few.

The Post-Marketing Studies conferences are part of CHI’s SCOPE: Summit for Clinical Ops Executives. CHI’s SCOPE will offer eight conferences and six preconference short courses.
