Naples Daily News Endorses Heather Fitzenhagen for District 78

Aug. 3, 2012 - PRLog -- Fort Myers, Florida – August 3, 2012 – The Naples Daily News announced its endorsement of Republican candidate Heather Fitzenhagen for Florida House of Representatives District 78. In recent weeks, Fitzenhagen also received the highly regarded endorsement of the News-Press.

The newspapers praise Fitzenhagen’s pro-business plans for building a better Florida. The Naples Daily News says Fitzenhagen “brings an understanding of the issues and leadership — the ability to build constituencies to get things done. That already includes an impressive array of Republican and community support.”

The News-Press editorial board recommends Heather Fitzenhagen for voters to select in the August 14 primary, stating, “Fitzenhagen’s diverse experiences as an attorney, business owner and community volunteer give her a solid understanding of the issues facing Southwest Florida and District 78.” The Editorial board also added, “Fitzenhagen combines an open-minded approach with the ability to assertively make her voice — and that of Southwest Florida — heard.”

Early voting starts this Saturday, August 4th, and runs until August 11th, with the primary election on August 14th.
