John Legend's Brother, VAUGHN ANTHONY Announces Launch Of Indiegogo And Releases "Mutual"

July 24, 2012 - PRLog -- New York, NY -  For the last 10 months, Vaughn Anthony (VA) has been reinvesting in himself as an artist and is ready to be heard as a strong, soulful force in the music industry.  With the help of his new manager, Keith Albright, "TEAM VA" was organized to independently release his highly anticipated Mixtape and EP album "Life of a Player”.  Refusing to shy away from being the younger brother of R&B icon John Legend, VA has embraced the challenge as a blessing.  Vaughn has been diligently blazing the trails promoting “Hold Me Down,” which is a powerful duet with his brother John.  In addition to working on his project, VA has been featured on major blogs, appearing at charity events, and performing at various venues throughout the country.

Although Vaughn Anthony is directly connected to a R&B icon, he is independently releasing his project.  As executive producer of "Life of a Player," VA has had to creatively finance his project.

Vaughn has put in countless hours of work to emerge beyond the shadow of a Legend.  VA has been blessed to share stages and recording studios with some of the hottest artists in the music industry.   "Music is a competitive industry and today there are so many microwave artists that don't last.   I've been oven-baked and I know I have good music.  It's important for me to reach out to potential fans and give them a reason to buy my music. I believe once music lovers learn of my hard work as a writer, singer, producer and CEO, they will have a deeper appreciation for my talent."
