BAM Outsource Backs Peterborough Chambers of Commerce Advice

Peterborough businesses, like others around the country, have been having an increasingly tough time as budgets are squeezed tighter than ever before. With some businesses questioning the amount of support and advice they can access BAM Outsource, an outsource sales company based in the city, was pleased to see Peterborough’s Chambers of Commerce come out with some well-timed and sensible advice.

John Bridge, the chief executive of the Chambers of Commerce made it quite clear that businesses need to be proactive if they want to see success. He said, “Standing still and expecting contracts to arrive without adapting to changing circumstances is not an option if companies want to be successful…One of the key things many companies have identified as vital to their business is the need to be proactive when seeking new business.”

Mr. Bridge has a wide range of business experience, he’s the chairman of Opportunity Peterborough and also a board member of the Greater Cambridge-Greater Peterborough Local Enterprise Partnership.  A representative from BAM Outsource said, “It’s important to listen to the advice of businessmen and women who have a good idea of the bigger picture whilst also using your niche expertise to adapt that advice to your own industry.” Mr. Bridge was keen to point out that it isn’t all doom and gloom, “Cambridgeshire and Peterborough seem to be bucking the national trend and continuing to have a growing, vibrant economy.”
