They will be cutting trees, digging and raking to clear the course. This event is part of KCC’s 3 on 3 community service event. A Loaves & Fishes food distribution will also take place. “The great thing about being in a mud run is that you’re off-road. Whether you’re in a team or individuals, you’re out in nature, you’ve got great trails where we can take you through some mud” said Kalamazoo Mud Run race director Donn Raseman. In addition to helping great causes this race is about fun. He added “it’s about going out with some of your buddies…laughing a bit and exerting yourself…and having fun while you’re at it.” View the interview with Donn Raseman at http://www.kalamazoomudrun.com/ The event is themed - “Get Dirty for Clean Water” because 100% of the net proceeds will be used to bring clean water to the people of Bulenga, a village just outside of Kampala, Uganda.
