One Day in the Mud = Years of Clean Water

March 20, 2013 - PRLog -- March 20, 2013 – Kalamazoo, Michigan: The second annual Kalamazoo Mud Run (http://www.kalamazoomudrun.com/) is an exciting 5k trail run and obstacle event scheduled for Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Kalamazoo Community Church, located at 2435 N. 26th, Kalamazoo, MI 49048.

Kalamazoo Mud Run Mission

Help us reach the goal of supporting sustainable well drilling operations in Uganda.  Well drilling equipment purchased will not only provide clean water for these communities, but will also tackle the three W’s to cure poverty:  Water, Wealth and Wages. Wealth comes from the business of owning well drilling equipment. Wages and jobs are the key components of the equipment. Kalamazoo Mud Run will also benefit Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes (http://www.kzoolf.org/)  in supporting their Mobile Food Initiative. The goal of this program is to get additional supplies of grocery assistance into the hands of people who need it within Kalamazoo County.

Sign Up SMASH Events

Sign up at the following locations for the Kalamazoo Mud Run and save $5.00 off each entry. The first 50 people to sign up at this event will also get a free Smashburger entrée certificate.

         Saturday, April 6 – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. @ Gazelle Sports, Downtown Kalamazoo - on the Mall

Adult 5k Run Registration Fees (Age 12 & up):
$39 March 1 to Memorial Day, May 27
$44 May 28 to June 7
$49 Race Day if available.

Kids Mud Run (Age 6 to 12 years old):
$12 per child WITH a Shirt Included by May 27
$15 per child WITH a Shirt up to June 8 if available
