William Peace University Celebrates Achievement During April 19 Annual Student Showcase

April 16, 2012 - PRLog -- RALEIGH, N.C. – William Peace University (http://www.peace.edu), a private four-year university located in downtown Raleigh, has announced that its annual Student Showcase, which celebrates scholarship and creativity by recognizing academic and artistic accomplishments, will be held on Thursday, April 19 on campus from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. with Musical Theatre Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Arts students and the Peace Singers performing from 7:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. A campuswide conference-style event, Student Showcase brings together the entire university community, including students, faculty, staff, parents, university board members, alumni and community supporters. The event will provide students with an opportunity to present academic research, debates and documentaries, as well as artistic performances of music, theater and poetry readings. Broken into mini sessions throughout the day, Student Showcase will encompass multiple components of the William Peace University academic and artistic educational experience, including presentations regarding ethical decision making, research in psychology and anthropology, an ethnographic study on generations, collegiate successes and social issue documentaries.
