The KinderRhyme program appeared in over 1500 elementary schools by 2009. Today SFAF programs are also included in preschool, middle and high school programs. Thanks to a 2010 federal grant, SFAF will now have their program in an additional 1,100 schools across the country. Started in 1987 by Johns Hopkins University SFAF creates and disseminates programs that are based on research and rigorous evaluation. It promotes reform through adopting and effective implementation. Anthony Michael, an award winning actor at 6, can also be seen on two PBS Kids Sprout Network segments (“Claritin Kids Allergy Medicine,” “Good Night Show: Star”); the voice of an instructional video for advertising firm TBWA World Wide - the largest advertising holding company in the world; in the film Waiting for Godot; in an industrial commercial for the U.S. National Parks Services; a Baltimore County Recycling commercial; a Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger commercial, and Hobbs currently appears in USDA’s Healthy Kids 2011 print campaign. His outstanding achievements garnered an appearance on ABC’s WMAR TV’s Good Morning Maryland Show and five 2011 Global Stars Network Awards.
