Dec. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- e-Tutor has seen the benefits of the internet and developed a way for the internet to assist students.  Founder Martha Angulo, a former school administrator and advocate for use of the internet in the teaching-learning process, created a program that provides children the opportunity to attend an accredited school from anywhere with internet access.  The lesson plans found in the e-Tutor program have been incredibly effective; allowing traveling students to continue school despite nomadic lifestyles.

In the United States there are many students who have the need to travel with parents.  Some may be children of a military family, children of traveling business parents, or simply children of a traveling family.  Traveling and international students need an option to stay current with schooling.  eTutor’s K-12 accredited online program is ideal for these students.

To access the program, students need only an internet connection.  Textbooks and extra materials are not needed for the instructional program.  This feature makes eTutor an easy program for traveling students.  Students enrolled in the program have often shown accelerated results from those in regular schools.  If at some point traveling students return to a public or private school system, they will either be right where they need to be or ahead of their peers.

Established in 1997, e-Tutor is an accredited online school built on Dr. Martha Angulo's simple philosophy:  Students learn more when given choices.  Students learn responsibility and are more engaged when given choices.  e-Tutor provides students a safe online learning environment to choose what and when they would like to learn next. While e-Tutor enforces basic rules to ensure that students are learning effectively, students are encouraged to set their own pace and to explore topics that interest them.
