Dec. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Parents and StudyDog share the common desire of offering curriculum-rich content on mobile devices.

The result is parents and homeschoolers can now offer reading curriculum, like StudyDog, on devices that now cost less than $200 and, since they have built-in wireless capability, they can be used anywhere.

There is no other complete reading program currently providing this capability.

“StudyDog was designed years ago with the vision of mobile computing,” said Deme Clainos, StudyDog president and CEO.  “From schools to home we have always wanted lower computing costs and more flexibility in where and how their students receive instruction.  Today, StudyDog has taken a big step in this direction”.

StudyDog supports all version 3.0 AndroidTM devices equipped with FlashTM, including Toshiba’s Thrive, Acer’s Iconia a500/a100, Motorola’s Xoom, Lenovo’s Idea Pad and Archos G9.  StudyDog also supports Barnes and Noble’s Nook Color and Blackberry’s Playbook.  And now on the Kindle Fire.  Just ready for the holiday season.

In addition to using StudyDog on computers both in the classroom and at home, schools and parents alike can now use the full StudyDog reading program anywhere because all of the named Android devices have wireless capability.

Anyone that uses StudyDog online will receive the mobile computing capability without any downloads or extra installation.

About StudyDog

StudyDog was founded in 2002 on the belief that success in life begins with reading. With this objective in mind the StudyDog designed a full primary reading system that is currently a rapidly growing reading program in schools nationwide.

The StudyDog reading curriculum is research-based and was developed on principles described by the National Reading Panel and other key reading experts. StudyDog consolidates these principles and delivers them in a unique way so children stick with the program for an extended period of time to master the skills being taught.
