“HOLLYWOOD GIRLS” Music Video by Lennon Leppert Features All Cast Members’ Voices

Dec. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- In an unusual departure from standard production practice, Lennon Leppert’s new music video, “Hollywood Girls” features the actual voices of the cast members. All were recorded at Studio City Sound under Leppert’s production and supply the actual soundtrack of the video.

Typically, professional session singers are brought in to record the singing parts and the actors lip-synch to the professional tracks in the video, but from the inception of his video idea, Leppert wanted each of the actresses, child and adult, to experience the full spectrum of recording their voices and lip-synching to them on the video. He originally cast these members because they were able to sing as well as act and they enjoyed the experience much more than if they had only acted or only sung.

Leppert is very proud of their performances and looks forward to the positive exposure they will receive as a result of their participation.

Hollywood Girls also features a multitude of guitar tracks, including a blistering solo, by L.A.’s most sought-after pop session player, Tim Pierce, a veteran of many years at the top of the recording world in Los Angeles.
