Snell & Wilmer Adds Daniel Barry to Intellectual Property Group

Oct. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- ORANGE COUNTY – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce the addition of attorney Daniel Barry to the firm’s Intellectual Property Group in Orange County. The firm has added 10 new attorneys to its Southern California offices in the past two months.

Barry’s practice is focused in the area of intellectual property litigation. He advises clients on patentability and prosecutes patent applications covering diverse technologies including image sensors, wireless networks, video devices, data encoding, fuel cells, spectral gamut mapping and printing.  Barry has an extensive background in engineering which allows him to effectively understand matters involving many different technologies.

Barry was previously an associate at Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto in Costa Mesa, CA. He received his juris doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law where he earned multiple merit scholarships and was the technical editor of the Computer and High Technology Law Journal. Barry earned is Bachelor of Science in General Engineering from the University of Illinois where he concentrated in Control Systems.
