Antonio Fojo and Neeta Amin Selected as Keynotes at CHI’s Accelerating Proof-of Concept Conference

Two thought-leaders and experts on phase II clinical trials will be the keynote speakers at the CHI’s Accelerating Proof of Concept: Clinical Success Driven by Science & Strategy, set for October 3-5 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Philadelphia, PA.
 
Aug. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Antonio Tito Fojo, M.D., Ph.D., Head, Experimental Therapeutics Section, NCI, NIH, kicks off this conference at 1:30 p.m with his talk,  How to Get and Learn so Much More from Data Captured in Clinical Trials of Cancer Therapeutics. Then at 2:15, Neeta Amin, Pharm D., Director, CVMED Research Unit, Pfizer, will discuss Delivery of a Robust Phase III Ready Package with First Dose in Clinic to Last Visit in Phase II in 15 Months – Example of PF-04971729 at Pfizer.

Science, strategy, and success is the theme at CHI’s Accelerating Proof-of-Concept conference. The conference will approach proof-of-concept from multiple angles: preclinical, early development and regulatory. It will include presentations from industry leaders, commentary from global regulators and strategy discussions throughout on topics such as data analysis for decision making, surrogate endpoints, reducing attrition and more. Delegates will participate in roundtable forums on defining proof of concept, while networking with peers and industry leaders.
