By: Leslie Allen The contingency program will reward qualifying racers with product certificates valued at $100, $50 and $25 respectively for a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finish that can be used for the purchase of these popular DEI performance products: Titanium Turbo Shield, Titanium Exhaust Wrap, all thermal control products, Boom Mat sound control products,CryO2 Cryogenic Intake System, major CryO2 components, Ny-Trex Nitrous System and other specified Ny-Trex components, as well as SPA Turbo manifolds and other major SPA Turbo components. Also, in coordination with the newly announced contingency program and in cooperation with Buschur Racing, DEI is pleased to offer a 25% price discount on select DEI performance products with the use of a discount code that will be provided specifically for this event. The special pricing will start effective June 1 of this year and conclude at the closing of the two day event – August 21st. Ken Maynard, SPA Turbo Product Manager, says, “We are very pleased to be able to introduce this new contingency program for an event that grows in popularity every year. We felt that the time was right to also support our racers, this event and one of our most valued business partners, Buschur Racing, by introducing significant price discounts for select DEI performance products. Our hope is that this year’s event will be the best ever with more participation and attendance than ever before.” DEI’s new contingency program is available to racers participating in any class of the autocross or drag racing events. This includes all three (autocross) classes on Saturday and all eight drag racing classes on Sunday: DSM Eliminator (DSE), DSM Stock Turbo (DST), EVO Stock Appearing (ESA), EVO Eliminator (EE), Bracket 1 (B1), Bracket 2 (B2), Quick (QWK) and Max Effort (ME). To participate in the new contingency program, racers must: 1) Utilize a qualifying DEI branded product* on their vehicle during the event; 2) Complete final check-in and registration at the DEI booth during the event, prior to the start of the race; 3) Display at least one (1) DEI brand specific decal on the exterior of their vehicle that is in plain and easily viewed sight of spectators and tech inspectors. A decal will be delivered at registration, upon request; and 4) Wear a DEI, CryO2, or Ny-Trex tee shirt or cap throughout their event. Apparel will be delivered at registration upon request.
