The Super Summer Lunch Buffet returns to Chicago's Signature Room Mondays from July 11-August 29

May 27, 2011 - PRLog -- CHICAGO, Ill. – If you’ve seen something just-picked or harvested at the Green City Market, you’ll most likely get to taste it on the seasonal menus offered at The Signature Room.  This summer, you can kick off your week with fresh goodness prepared for a deliciously priced Super Summer Lunch Buffet every Monday from July 11th through August 29th.  

For $15 per person, The Signature Room’s Super Summer Buffet offers a sophisticated lunch at a value-packed price featuring the gourmet lunch buffet made with locally sourced ingredients. This special offers visitors and locals alike a great escape to beat the heat while enjoying panoramic views and indulgent cuisine featuring the freshest ingredients and produce from local farmers around the Midwest.

“We want to serve our guests the best quality, freshest products available, and our long-standing relationships with key growers and farmers around the region allow us to provide just that,” said Executive Chef Patrick Sheerin.  

In fact, Sheerin is a regular at Lincoln Park’s Green City Market, where he shops twice a week to provide the freshest ingredients possible for menus featured at lunch, dinner, brunch and for private events.  The culinary team prepares menus utilizing the ingredients for the daily lunch buffet, including juicy meats at a carving station, seafood specialties, gourmet salads and homemade soups. There is also a daily Chef’s selection of potato, rice or pasta, and seasonal vegetables.

Mondays from July 11 through August 29, The Super Summer Lunch Buffet is available from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. The cost is $15 adults; $11 for children 4-12 (plus tax and gratuity), and includes soft drinks in the price.  The regular lunch buffet (no beverage included) is offered at $20; $11 for children 4-12 (plus tax and gratuity) Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.  Walk-ins are welcome but reservations are encouraged.
