SEM Link selected as one of the nonprofits supported by Wildfire Studios in 2011

Jan. 3, 2011 - PRLog -- Science, Engineering and Mathematics Link Inc (SEM Link) was selected as one of the 100 nonprofit organizations that Wildfire Marketing Group will support in 2011. Interns from Wildfire Studios will provide support in developing and implementing a social media marketing campaign that will build constituencies, generate advocacy activity and raise money for SEM Link.
 
Wildfire Marketing Group Inc, which is comprised of an network of Internet Marketing professionals wishing to give back to the community by assisting 100 non-profit organizations each year. Wildfire Studios provides resources, services and training to help  organizations leverage e-mail, the Web, mobile phones and other digital media for fundraising, marketing, advocacy, community and other purposes. SEM Link is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization, founded in 2005 in Atlanta, Georgia, that promotes student achievement and career exploration in math and science for K-12 students by connecting them with individuals with backgrounds in science, engineering and mathematics. SEM Link has a two-core program model, Experimental Design Program and Math and Science Career Academy, that provide students with opportunities to develop their math and science skills by enhancing the classroom learning experience and teaching them skills that are transferable to other areas of life. Since its inception SEM Link has enhanced educational experiences for over 1000 Metro Atlanta youth through hands on math and science activities, career exploration and exposure to real world applications of math and science.  In January 2010, SEM Link expanded its programs to the Bay Area to enhance the educational experiences for Bay Area youth.
