Dec. 6, 2010 - PRLog -- Menlo Park, California  – Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry, a division of S.H. Silver Company today announced the unveiling of their new 2011 Signature collection, “The Enchanted Forest”. The collection is available for viewing at the company’s Menlo Park Salon and the Rosewood Sand Hill hotel Boutique. Inside the Enchanted Forest one will find a magnificent emerald collection, a purely unique hand painted diamond and red spinel  “Mouse King” brooch and a pair of intricate, two year-in the-making, platinum and diamond earrings that are a first in a series of five signed and numbered botanical creations, “Inspirations From a Forest Garden.”

In addition to the new Signature Collection, the company is celebrating its 30th Anniversary. Since the beginning, Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry has married Old World attention to detail with a cosmopolitan eye on the world of design and fashion, creating jewelry of the highest quality.

To honor the 30th Anniversary and the Centennial Anniversary of the Smithsonian Institution, the company placed the historic Cullinan Blue Diamond Necklace into the Smithsonian’s National Gem and Mineral Collection. The necklace is proudly displayed adjacent to the Hope Diamond in the Winston Gallery.

“As the company reaches this important milestone, I can’t help but fondly reflect back on very special moments, including my recent trips to Washington D.C and involvement with the talented people of the Smithsonian Institution. To know that through this donation millions of visitors to the Museum will have the opportunity to learn about the Cullinan Blue Diamond Necklace is truly one of my career highlights,” said Stephen H. Silver, chairman and CEO of Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry. “I’m fortunate to work with a talented team of people that continually turn jewelry into works of art and it gives me great joy to pass along these masterpieces to our clientele.”

Similar to the mystique of miniature kingdoms, the company’s bejeweled wonderland contains rare and brilliantly complex examples of extraordinary jewelry making. Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry’s highly skilled designers and metal smiths choose only the finest elements in their pursuit of their unique art form, resulting in beautiful creations.

The Enchanted Forest Collection consists of the following pieces featured in this year’s catalog. Prices available on request.

The mystical “Brugmansia,” the inspiration for a pair of platinum and diamond earrings. The most complicated pair of earrings we have ever made in the history of our company. What set out as a design idea soon took on a life of its own and became a two year long project one jeweler dedicated virtually all of his time to. It has taken thousands of hours, thousands of diamonds, the invention of new tools and the dedication of a master jeweler to create this pair of angels trumpet flower earrings. They are masterpieces of his craft. A true example of how jewelry becomes art. The “Brugmansia” earrings will be the first in a series of five signed and numbered botanical creations, “Inspirations From A Forest Garden,” designed by Inga Papendieck for Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry
