| ![]() An Inspirational Evening with Local AuthorsAuthors Under the Stars is a night to be inspred. Enjoy drinks and appetizers in Fiesta de Reyes and journey inside the books of five outstanding authors--Jack Scheffler Innis, Joey Seymour, Bette Blaydes Pegas, RD Riccoboni, and Joan Brady.
The event is sponsored by The Old Town Gift Company, which actively supports local authors with bi-weekly book signings at their store, and will feature a cash beer and wine bar in addition to light complementary appetizers. The night will highlight local writing talent and give San Diegans and visitors alike a chance to discover the exciting history and culture that America’s Finest City has to offer. Bette Blaydes Pegas, author of Chasing a Dream in the Galápagos: A Personal Evolution (9780916251970; Jack Scheffler Innis is the author of San Diego Legends: The Events, People, and Places That Made History (9780932653642; Joey Seymour, author of San Diego’s Finest Athletes: Five Exceptional Lives (9780916251994; Fiesta de Reyes merchant RD Riccoboni, will share his book From Old Town to New Town: San Diego Paintings, filled with his energetic paintings of beautiful historic San Diego scenes. Finally, Joan Brady, the best-selling author of God on a Harley, will make a special appearance featuring her latest title The Ghost of Mt.
