Stellar Development Selected to Build New Norwegian Church
LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL - Stellar Development, Inc. was selected to build the Norwegian Seamen's Church and Scandinavian Center project in Davie, Florida.  The project includes the demolition of four existing buildings, the construction of a new community center and rectory building, and renovations and additions to the existing chapel, totaling approximately 15,500-SF of new construction.

The two-story rectory will include three townhome units with a guest suite and a three-car garage with second floor storage space.  The community center will house several offices for the church staff, as well as a full commercial kitchen with a large banquet hall for social gatherings.  The new chapel will be used for worship and spiritual gatherings. The site will include a swimming pool with a cabana and a large playfield for recreational activities.  The project, valued at $3.1 million, is expected to be complete in May 2011.
