The company “Artur-k” took part in Central and Eastern Europe Wholesalers Summit

June 24, 2010 - PRLog -- Summit was held in June, 9-11 Munich, Germany. The key speakers of event were Dr. Swen Smit, Director in MCKinsey’s Amsterdam office, Dr. Klaus Imhof, Head of Consumer Goods and Life Sciences from Raiffeisen Investment, Mr. Alan Sheppard, Principal, Thought Leadership at IMS Health for Global Generics, Mr. Jeff George, Head of “Sandoz”.
During the Summit participants were sharing experience on the ways out from crisis, methods of taking up post crisis measures, were discussing mainstreams of world pharmaceutical market.    

The manufacture of innovative generics and biosimilars was recognized as strategically most important.
Question concerning logistic or distribution as priority areas led to contentious debates between participants.

Ukrainian delegates were taking keen interest in the experience of Romania and Bulgaria in hospital sector and state policy in this field.

Representatives of “Artur-K” arouse such important for state question as plans of world pharmaceutical companies concerning opening of their manufacturing sites in Ukraine. During dialogue between our representative and Mr. Jeff George, Head of “Sandoz”, it became evident that they had plans on such projects thanks to successful experience on placement of manufactures in Poland and Slovenia.      

Besides participation in interesting and important discussions, delegates of “Artur-K” obtained perfect opportunity to attend manufacturing site of “Sandoz” in Germany. Entirely automated process in accordance with GMP rules, newest technologies demonstrated us the highest level of development of the company. But the biggest interest was caused by manufacture of innovative products of “Sandoz”. As example, there were demonstrated new anesthetics    
issued in the form of plasters.
Thanks to  the Summit, all participants obtained unique experience, important information on the pharmaceutical markets of the world, data regarding latest tendencies in the field of manufacturing of generic and biosimilar production.
